Just been watching the environment creation for production Gnomon dvd and from what I can tell about modelling buildings you can basically go nuts. You dont have to economise vertexes or be aware of any kind of "flow" in the same way you do when modelling characters. Is this right ? If not can anyone point me in the direction of some really good tutorials. I wanna work as a 2d matte painter and 3d environment modeller. and if the way the dvd shows you how to model is correct I wanna dive straight in. but I dont wanna start any bad habits either.
