View Full Version : Tell Backburner to shut down

07 July 2010, 03:22 PM
Hi there;

Is there a way to tell backburner to shutdown servers when the current job (or a defined one) is finished?.

I know this is something quite easy to do with other render managers, so I'm asking.

Thank's in advance.

maybe use a command line submission script and just put the server quit command after the job submission. I don't remember the Backburner syntax but on OS X or Linux, you just separate command line things with a semicolon to have it done after:

render -r vray job.mb; sudo osascript -e 'tell application \"Finder\" to sleep'

That tells my system to sleep after the job is done.
