View Full Version : Need Help: Poly Draw in 3ds max 2010

Real quickly, I am trying to model a small shirt using the new polydraw function in 3ds max 2010. It was previously called polyboost in previous version.

I am running into a small problem. when modeling on a template body, I use the topology tool in freeform/polydraw tab. in the previous version I made lines that would form quads, but now I cannot see the lines that I make. after some guess work I eventually can see formed quads but they look horrible. I have not tweaked anything and I am working on a basic poly model but I also have draw on surface on, and the model selected as the surface, but that's it.

Can anyone help. Also if you can offer advice by making reference to the 2010 version that would be helpful as the previous polydraw/polyboost interface is different.

Also any tutorials would really go a long way for me.
