maybe a bit silly question but is it possible to use both motionvector pass and depth pass from maya in post?? I mean is there a way to compose them properly using "vectorblur" and "zblur" nodes together (speaking ie Nuke)

I quess not because it wont be aligned then (motion blurred image wont fit the depth pass) but maybe is there a way (applying mv2d pass on depth pass?!?)

The point is to render in single pass without motionblur and dof and do it both in composite package (nuke)

technically there is now way to do it right, because in real cameras it happens at the same time. so either way you do it wont be technically correct.

do it the way it looks the best
