View Full Version : mip_cameraMap not affected by photographic exposure

07 July 2010, 08:00 AM
Hi there;

Is there a way to make a lens shader like the photograpic exposure not to affect mip_cameraMap at all?, it's wierd because I think mip_cameraMap node shouldn't be affected by tonemappers, but they do.

Any ideas?

If I put my background image on my camera with a mip_cameraMap node and want to use exposure photographic, then my background is affected by it. I need to increase the multiplier on the cameraMap node and change the gamma.

When you use this kind of setup, your background looks the same with the exposure photographic AND without it?.

Depend on cm2 Factor. Use sun&sky or mirrorball with switch environment?
If you have the rgb unit on 0.318000, your cameramap multipler obviously set up value, if 0.000100, change cm2 factor for your favorite like effects. I'm usually use arbitrary setting for Exposure photografic, iso 0 and cm2 factor like a multiplier and not real lens exposure, this help me. Anyway, if you post a screenshots of your setting i help more you. :) (
