Hey everyones, i was wondering has is Exactly the purpose and methodology of Elliptical Filtering ?

Textures optimisation ?

Is it something like the spacial lenght filtering in soft3D ?

What is it ?

Is a filthering algorithm useful as an alternative to raise the antialiasing values when you have a high-detail texture that moves far-near to camera and viceversa.


PS. By the way, that is on the manuals.
