i have a few very big models of an racetrack.
that scene has to be used with an 3d printer,
that makes a real 3d ceramic model.
the problem is, that all objects has to be to
one closet mesh. (also one clean mesh that
has a closed surface...)
the models has a polycount up to 340.000.
i wanted to rebuild the scene with sub-patches,
but my boss wants a more detailt version like
one big problem is, that the models have 3-polys
and that all the objects have different edge-counts.
is there a tool to convert the object to better polygon
surfaces? when that objects has 4-polys, it could be
easier for me to handle that stuff...
