View Full Version : Exporting Materials and Textures from ZBrush to Vue

07 July 2010, 02:16 AM
Okay, I've searched all over the 'net all day for this, and my wife tells me that some of the guys here are able to do this.

* Problem - I've created a model in ZBrush, added a material and polypainted it, created new texture from polypaint, hit the "flip H" button as advised on some other forum posts, exported the texture, exported the model as a .obj file, then brought it into Vue. I set the material in Vue to the .bmp file I exported from ZBrush, and tried every orientation and mapping scheme I can think of to get the texture to wrap correctly on the model, and I just cannot get it to work.

Would one of you world class geniuses here at CG Society take pity on a poor novice and help me figure this out?

Thanks in advance for any and all help, suggestions, links, what ever you can think of.
