View Full Version : normal map renders with warped UV's

If I bake normals from the lowest subdiv then I get the greatest detail, but UV's that are warped- the higher the subdiv the less detail but more accurate UV maps.
The issue doesn't occur with diffuse and bump maps.

It looks like the app doesn't like working with shells; I capped the top and bottom walls with geometry and the UV's were left unwarped

Why don't you try xNormal? This is the realy good free tool.
