hi,

what are the best settings for rendering a animation with indirect lighting, so there is least flickering and noise ?

Brute Force in both slots = tweak free animation. Longer rendertimes of course but it's tweak free. It also produces a little noise, but natural noise is good in renders I believe.

If you have animated objects (deformed or not) better go with the animation mode.
First you render the animation prepass, with Light Cache (single file) as the secondary bounces engine.
After it finishes, you switch to Animation (rendering) mode, and use none for the secondary bounce engine.
Its faster than the brute force one.
