View Full Version : Re-Aligning Objects

Somehow while UV Unwrapping an object I managed to scale it down and slightly rotate it accidentally. The problem is that the object was one half of a pocket watch model and so I need to realign it perfectly to the other half, here's a pic of the situation: (

I have no idea how to precisely scale and realign the smaller bottom half to the top half, but I did realize that they share a clock pointer hand which I have circled in red which is the same thing except one is vertically mirror, and I wanted to know if there was some way to basically let the program figure out what transformations need to be applied to make these two shared reference points line up again on the X/Y axis while only scaling in a uniform fashion on each axis including Z.

There's probably an easier way to do this that I'm not aware of but this to me seems like a really convienent way to do it if it is even possible.

Anyways, HELP ME PLEASE! :(
