View Full Version : FlowerCreator as scripted simpleObject

I'm trying to convert an old script of mine to a simpleObject scripted plug-in and I was wondering if there is a way to create quads in the buildMesh handler? I know it's a triMesh, but I am hoping there is some kind of workaround for this. My generated triMesh does look that great when smoothed/subdivided.
I'm also looking for some c&c on the script, this is what i got so far:

For those interested, I was given a great tip to clear the visibility of the unwanted edges, and now it works pretty fine, but I would appreciated it if someone could test the script and tell me what works and what doesn't.

that's pretty cool!
maybe a few too many creation click steps, from a usability point of view?

Thanks for the input plastic, I reduced the steps as suggested so it is now a 1-click process. I also made a short video demonstrating the parameters changing and animating
