I am trying to add a blend shape to a free rig I have animated.
I just want to tweak the mouth shapes.
problem is when blend shape input node is below skin cluster input node in the list
the mesh deforms to a crumpled mess. very frustrating as the rig is pretty cool but needs a tweak to add a bit of appeal.
Im sure there is something simple i am messing up on.
I have attached test file and would be really grateful to anyone who has suggestions.
please note the blend shape in file is just a quick deform to test.

ok cant upload maya file as it is too large 470 kb in Zip (. rar got down to acceptable size but is not valid upload format ). So here are a couple of screen shots.
