(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/271408_1275701703/1024bound)This is a design I have for Family Transport PODS. They are Energy Efficient cars that run on auto-pilot to detinations similar to trains yet personal- interiors come with various options to make traveling more comfortable. Each POD parking area is located conveniently near city centers where the PODs are safely deposited in the Parking Structures (some compact and some main).

Top left- on rail- I have more images coming- I didn't mean to post this as the final image, this is one of the roughs I was working on.

These are images of the Monorail POD transportation schemes I have come up with. This is the support and rail. The rails themselves are referenced from the Palm Monorail in Dubai and Disney- I just liked their clean designs- however instead of supporting a train these will be supporting individual "PODs" or cars per family/owner- with different features, cabin aspects and appearences.- One track goes one direction, the other another and there will be gateways for PODs to be "garaged or parked" in compact parking structures (a similar concept of the Japanese Robotic Parking Garages).

This is the POD car roughing out- A control arm will come down at Compact Garage locations and hook the top of the car to remove it as it engages the door to open and fold allowing passengers to exit.

Actually revamping- going to put the tracks separate and on opposite sides of the street so that both sides of the cars can have doors to open more convienently.

Just another render from above=- threw together a ground plane and am back to working on the POD.
