View Full Version : Anyone try to use FBIK in 2011 in production?

FBIK in 2009 was a bitch to get working right and reliably. I'm just curious, has anyone attempted to do a project with FBIK in 2011? Is FBIK improved at all? Could you manage to get through a whole project with it?

I have been working with it. Although there are new improvements it has given way to new issues as well. I use it to transfer from Maya to Max and vice versa.

Does trax work with it effectively? Animation layering?

I remember the big problem I had with it was copying and pasting keys, or rearranging keys. Like you'd copy a key to a new location and it'd like permanently break the skeleton. Every skeleton I worked on would at some point break, and everything go nuts on the skeleton.

Does it still have that issue?
