View Full Version : Exporting Camera and Mesh to 3dsMax

Have an environment in Vue, and a character in 3dsMax. want to composite the 2 together. (Have to do it this way - can't get Vue to work properly in max, and can't get my SSS materials into Vue). So i set up my camera and mesh in Vue, then export .3ds file to 3dsMax, but when I import it my composition isn't the same. Any ideas? checked that camera lens settings, it's still 35mm. Both are set up to render 1280x720. Both work of a default 35mm medium. So why do I get different compositions? Why doesn't it look the same? FYI - when I bring it into 3dsMax my mesh appears farther away and smaller in the shot.
