View Full Version : skin weights problem - reverse effect?

I have used an influence object, a sphere, to act as the tricep to help the deformation of the mesh be more accurate, except the painted skin weights are not reacting as the sphere does.

When the arm is extended the sphere contracts and gets wider, but the skin goes inwards and NOT wider like the bulge of the muscle, making the arm thinner than should be. And when the arm contracts, the tricep part of the mesh becomes abnormally thin. Any clue on how to get this working right??
