View Full Version : Position Object / Birth Texture incompatible MR Arch Design
it seems that pflows Birth Texture / Position Object operators are
incompatible with Mr Arch Design Material, at least the Material ( greyscale ) option function.
When i create a plane with a checker map ( one version a Standard Material
the other one a Arch Design Material ) particles are only created onto the plane
with the Standard Material.
Can you guys confirm that issue?
i just have recognized that the "Density ability" (Material ) of the Position Object
operator is not compareable with the function in the Birth Texture
where you have to enter a whiteness value (Emission by)
Thats really a pity because i really like the scale function ability of the birth texture
where you can let decide the scale of the particle by a greyscale map.
It would be really cool if you could combinate both functions together.
(Scale particles by greyscale + Density by Material )
okay it seems that its not possible without scripting.
Its really a pity that the position object operator doesnt got the scale function from the3
birth texture or that you can not combine them without scripting.
Found a few scripts out there to use...
