I have created a landscape using a displacement material. I would now like to define what areas of that landscape are slightly transparent. Is it possible to plug a transparency map into the displacement material. (Lambert)
I am trying to show some infrastructure underground, but I do not want to effect the overall transparency. Just the areas where the infrastructure sits (a window effect)
The camera is animated along a path and an overall terrain transparency dim , due to perspective of the camera, the structure below the surface looks as if it is moving.
I am using the geometry underground as an alpha to mask (the terrain layer) but the structure underground still seams to looks as if it is moving when the camera moves.
