Hi everybody

I am working on this new character. I'd like to make a wild woman who lives in a kind of subtropical forest. This is really the basis, It still needs a lot of work, so I post it here to have some feedback on it!

Can you please provide some more information? It's hard to give feedback unless we know what you're actually wanting to do with this. Is it meant to be realistic, or stylised?

It will be as realistic as I can do. I am not sure about her anatomy that also why I am asking some crits :s . The final character will have some jewelry and her skin will have some stains. She will be naked, I will try to play with those stains to dress her.

You want to decide which direction you want to go in. Mostly you would make stuff to either put in your portfolio or as a study piece, either way you want to go all out and the piece should be strong. The style itself isnt that important but the expression is everything.

What you have now is an ok start but it lacks power of muscles, bone, sinew or fat structure. You have quite a few things in the right place but it isnt expressive. Figures dont have to look like Olympians to be successful, there are lots of models of naked saggy old ladies and fat people that work very well, only when you see the models you can see right through the skin and feel how the figure is built.

I could tell you to drop the hairline on the forehead, fix the cheekbones and lots of little detail things like that but, you would do better to really check out the work of top modellers and ask yourself what it is that makes their work speak to you. Then grab some advanced figure sculpting tutorials and do them again and again. Judging by the background I am guessing zbrush, there are many tutorials available in your native app.

Keep it up
its fun!
