cup of coffee with steam that rises and then moves ,with some motivation, across the table bouncing off various objects. the client wants it to feel directed or ...eek.. have some personality. its several long shots for a big coffee company
forgetting about personality for the moment, ive been using curve flows as fluid emitters and get some nice looks but the problem is that the leading edge of the steam is the emitter and client wants the emitter to be the cup and the steam to have the motivation. im almost looking for a fluid goal or something to drive the fluid after its been emitted.
playing around with motion fields now..but anyone have any good ideas on how to do it
