View Full Version : nCloth Penetration

05-11-2010, 10:45 PM
Hi there,

I have a problem and I can't figure it out. First of all I am quite new to nCloth. I created a t-shirt for a character and that worked out really well. No I am doing the shorts but it keeps on penetrating the character. I cranked up the iterations and substeps really high, both in the cloth settings and the nucleus settings, but it still keeps penetrating the character. As I said I am new to using it so maybe I am missing something.

Thanks in advance

Are you using a nCloth preset to start with? They are pretty good.

Have you played with 'Space scale' attr in nucleus? and thickness of your nCloth..

Thanks for your reply. I played with all the settings I can think of. I simulated a t-shirt and that worked very wel. The scale for the nucleus was fine. I remodeled the pants and did the simulation and now everything worked well.

Thanks anyways!
