I just got my free copy of Cinema 4D CE v6 in 3D World mag and I was hoping (BIGTIME) that it would be compatible with Messiah.

Any light on this?

p.s. The demo of Messiah:Animate has a plugin for C4D, but its for versions 7+.

It's probably not going to happen for you with that older rev.

I am assuming that one could easily model with C4d, and animate and possibly render with Messiah (depending on which version you have).

I'm unfamiliar with c4d version 6 CE, but it sounds like a demo version of cinema. If that is the case I would be surprised if ANY plugins work with it as most (ours included) disable plugins in demo versions.

More to the point however, our support of third party host apps will only move in a forward direction. There's simply too much work involved in porting to different revs, and not enough demand for it since most users will have upgraded.
