View Full Version : Stretched Latex settings in NCloth

I'm trying to get a square sheet of very thin latex (ie the kind of stuff they use on medical gloves) to stretch extremely tightly and have a human face push into it causing it to define the face in a lot of detail. At the moment the settings give me a very basic deformation. How to i get the latex to stretch as it would in real life so that i can see all the features of the face? Is it the max iterations? the collision settings? or is my sheet not smooth enough? I need super detail...

also how do i prevent interpenetration on the collisions?

any help would be much appreciated!

well most likely youre going to need an extremely high poly count and sim times to get alot of detail...

read on the forums, duncan explained how to do this with displacements which may be better...
