View Full Version : nCloth Question about intersection and self-collision

Hi everyone,

I'm working on cloth simulation, amd I'm quite new in this field. Right now, I try to simulate a jacket of a character. I have a problem when
the character bend his elbow and causing arm and forearm to intersect with each other. This cause the ncloth object crash.
and I dont know how to set the attribute in order to solve this problem.

I hope someone can give me some advise and give me a way of doing this

Thanks in advance
PS. Sorry for my grammatical error. I'm not very good in English. (

the problem seems due to your collision geometry. look at the intersection of your arm geometry!!

get rid of those intersections and you will get a working cloth simulation. use influence objects, blend shapes or rework your skin weights.

as long as you have intersecting geometry cloth wont work as expected and will certainly crash!
