View Full Version : How to make many objects vibrate using Expressions or Hypershade

I want to setup a scene where I want 50 spheres vibrating slightly in the X, Y and Z directions. I tried plugging the fractal texture into the rotate and translate channels. This was followed by animating the texture and setting key frames. But I don't want do this one sphere at a time - it is too tedious.
I also tried writing expressions. But I couldn't get beyond writing the following expression :
sphere1.translateX = sphere1.translateY = sphere1.translateZ = rand (1, -1).

Please help me out.
