View Full Version : Maya 2011 fluid emission maps

It's cool that fluid emission maps are supported now, but from the test I have done with a 3d fluid and a map on my emission object, its super slow to emit, even with a lowres map like 32x32 pixels...

Whats up with that ?

I could emit fast dying particles from the map and emit fluids from the particles, but thats slightly annoying.

Anyone have had better luck with emission maps them me?
