View Full Version : Holding Last frame of sequence

I'm trying to hold the last frame of a sequence in my animation for 5 seconds, what is the easiest way to hold your last frame instead of jumping to the next sequence of your animation if that makes any sense.

You could use time-remapping and hold that frame.

Can you explain how? That only seems to speed up or slow down my sequence.

-Go to the frame that you want to hold and add a keyframe.
-Go to the next frame and add a keyframe. Now slide this keyframe how far out you want.
-Set the keyframe of the frame that you want to hold on to toggle hold. You'll be holding that frame until you run into your next keyframe.

Oh i see what you mean. Time freeze frame freezes the whole clip but i only need to freeze one frame and the subsequent frames. for example freeze the latter 50% of the clip.
After applying time remapping, the final keyframe will be at the end of your clip. But you can now stretch the length of the clip beyond the final keyframe for however long you want to hold the last clip.
