This is the first piece of my series about Indian ascetics called Sadhus. If you like it and I get comments, I will post some more...

This one is entitled "Inside-Outside"

Meditate on your inner self.

Technical note: I had comments that my remote server had problems, and many could not see my pictures. Therefore after a couple of different options I have moved the pictures to a different host. I hope you can see them now. :hmm:

Very nice.Esp you pick up subjects from my country.

Just make sure the issues with photomanips.The ownerships of Pictures.Hope you have the rights.

YOu are on the right track.... keep going ...Maybe you wanna "paint" one of these in photoshop or painter...

:D Thank you for your interest. Sadhus are THE BEST EVER!

As for pictures, some photos were taken by me during my anthropological research ( Would you believe that the previous picture is of me personally receiving a blessing from a vaishna sadhu? The energies were devastating...

Other photos are by a great great anthropologist and photographer Dolf Hartsuiker (, who is fully aware what I am doing to his pictures... Do check him out, because he is phantastic!

So I hope you like the images, here's the next one from the "Tangka" collection:
