just trying out mudbox 2011 im realy liking it compared to zbrush, interface wise...
but am wondering about methods of mapping zbrush has uvmaster which is fantastic so in mudbox what are the best ways to do similar? how do uv map in mudbox or do i have to export the mesh map it max or maya then bring it in again to texture?

there are no uv tools in mud...

for me there is no need for such a feature...
there are enough tools out there to do clean uvs like uvlayout...

ok cool thanks, so you would sculpt in mudbox then export your model out to uvlayout then bring it back in with uv information embedded and then texture it?

you can import uvs at any time...
file --> import uvs...
