View Full Version : My Showreel 2010

04-08-2010, 02:01 AM
Hi folks,

here is my new showreel:

Most of the projects include my favourite workflow "camera mapping" to extract elements from live action footage and turn them into 3D objects to mess around with reality... made with 3ds max, After Effects and SynthEyes.

Do you have a breakdown?

Not yet, but I am still planning to create a "making of" about the jumping stuff. You can find some wireframe animations of the Mercedes stuff on my website as well. > www.framebox.com (http://www.framebox.com/)

Thank you all for your comments!

And I added the vimeo link in the original post above.

Awesome designs! A definite thumbs-up from me.

I love the jumping-shots in the beginning the most, and also the last shot, with the building part crossing the street.

Only shot I didn't like so much was the black pulverization thingy moving down the street around 0.44. It's pretty close to awesome, but I'd take it through comp one more time, and integrate the "particle mist" better in the BG plate, for instance by adjusting the black level.

But kick-ass stuff!

Thank you all for your great feedback!

I edited the original post with the direct youtube link, because I figured that the embedded clip on my website didnt play in many browsers, for some reason...

Thanks also for the feedback about the lacking black hole VFX scene, you are right.
