View Full Version : ZB Decimation to Animation, why or why not?

Hey Guys!

I've posted this on another forum as well... cause I am really curios...

Anyone out there use decimation-master for final game-res models?

If the topology is good and smooth: and since game-engines, and render-engines alike - triangulate anyway... why not just use decimation to create the final game-res model, than rig, than animate? Wouldn't this be better, and more efficient, and telling of how a mesh is going to deform during performance?
