here goes, been around for a while and thought I'd post an image, made with patches in max , textured in Pshop with Texporter. It's for a short animation that I'm working on.

I like it! Is it just a head or do you have a body attached?

I guess no one one really cares about heads anymore, or at least mine or yours. Yours is defintely not worthy of a "0 reply", so here goes my critique: 2nd head (I'm assuming that it is the same as the first just a more recent update) :try varing the bump a little more over all the head, areas like the forehead and above the lip could use a smaller pattern to them. Very nice grotesque appearence, and nice colors. Love the veins popping on the forehead too! Perhaps a little falloff could be added to soften the skin just a little. The lips also has a odd deformation at the corners. The eyes need a little more owk too but it is a WIP! Nice work, could you post a non blured, and a cage so readers can see it a little more clearly?

Wow! Seriously, one of the coolest character faces I've seen. I agree about the bump map some parts could be more subtle. I could'nt see the first image. Would like to see more of this guy. He oozes evil. Terrific model.

I really like them and I apreciate the fact that they're very stylised (uh, is it English ?). I agree with the boys, the texture need more work.
Keep posting, really interressant stuff ! :)

very nice model, realy great expressions!
the veins on his forehead look like he hasn't been outside or at least not in the sunlight for a while.

- In the close up, the upper eyelid looks a bit strange, maybe you could add a fold going inwards the head (excuse my english, I hope you get what I mean)
- The eyes also look a bit unfinished in the close-up, in the other views they look ok.
- You should also considder adding some wrinkles on his forehead an below his eyes.

Thanks for the comments, v helpful, and when I get the chance I'll work on the textures. I don't think I'll get the chance to work on the mesh anymore. He was supposed to look like one of my illustrations, rather than super realistic, and I think he does what he's supposed to (look sinister and sad). Next time I'll work with mesh/poly not patches!
