View Full Version : Recommendation for new 3d artist?

Hello everyone, I just started studying CG and Animation earlier this year. At our uni we are using Maya as our main 3d software, and I really like it.

Now the question is: The uni has Eyeon Fusion 6 and Autodesk Toxik 2010. I can receive the course in whichever one I want of those two, but I gotta pick soon cause Compositing classes start in about a week or two... I've been messing around with both and I like both, from a personal basic usage experience.

Which one is more likely to be more used in the industry in a 3-4 year period ? (thats when I would be graduating).
And also which one is better for compositing right now? It doesn't matter which one is harder to learn.
