Nice start. The textures look really good so far. My only critique would be that the head looks a little big for the rest of the body? I could be wrong. Keep going looking good :). Gadzooks

The body appears too thin where it attaches to the head. Actually it does not even look attached to the head. It gives the illusion that someone took the snake with both hands and stretched it.

Your eye flaps, or hoods are looking good, but maybe lower them a bit and then extrude a new lip from there. If you look on the ref image there is this very thin lip extruding above the round buldge.

Looks good :)

@ goren LOL right mate the body and the head are two separate mesh it will be dealt with in the final post. and as for the body being stretched is due to some problems with the textures i am working on it :) about my that eye flap? hmm i will think about may be its not common in Every
crotalus cerastes but thanks for ur support i look forward to improve it.

THe textures are amazing. But the body still looks too thin compared to the head.
If you look at the ref image the middle of the body is as thick as the heads width.

Nice render.

did some work :) hmm... still its not the kind of look i was looking for so gonna keep it in WIP,

About that mate the reference you are looking at is the snake with its body in pit position. once it reaches the striking position it body stretches and get the shape you see it the picture.
