Anyone know a good link to a hand rigging tutorial?

There was a mini-contest here in the rigging forum for rigging up a hand, they had to show their progress and what-not so that might be a good resource, if all of the files are still in there. Otherwise, I would say look at some rigs that you like, study how they rigged up the hand and reproduce it. Good luck!!!

the basic mechanics of rigging itself do not really change based on bodypart. Your general techniques that you apply or use will.

For a hand you might use FK controls or Set Driven Key controls with a control object to hold the SDK values, or you might experiment with IK for the fingers. None of these setups are wrong. Its mostly about how you want to animate or what controls your animator needs to make his/her job easier.
