Nicely done! I think you're onto something the way it turns to foam and how it all separates after having been in the mug for a little bit. That was cool. I think you just need to work on the shaders (adding more spec, bubbles etc.), lighting (getting some light shining through it) and maybe speed it up a little bit and you'd have a pretty realistic beer simulation!

edit: I really liked your chocolate syrup sim. That was really nice! It looked spot on.
