Decided to try the "love" theme Just quick blocking, not sure if I'll be able to finish it in time, but here it is anyways. C&C are welcome :)

I'm not that fond of the first pose, feels like you're aiming to do that dreaming look. But to me she looks like a child with confidence issues, I think having her in a more neutral pose would be more interesting. Going from neutral -> surprised ->happy, gives more of a change then happy->surprised->happy. Hmm bending the animation a bit when she is surprised should make the animation "pop" more.

I really liked the smile behind her hands, discrete things are truly the best, the eyes were also very alive. I'm looking forward to seeing you continue, and keep up the good work on your blog. :)

Hey Kyle! Nice start. I agree with weyu on the first pose. Mainly just the eyes/brows/angle of the head don't quite work on that first pose. Looking forward to seeing how you progress with this. Catch ya!
