Latest Update: Work In Progress: gunslinger model wip (

For the B Movie Challenge, I have decided to do a full CG animation called 28 Channels Later, a take off of the 28 days/weeks later movies, except, in my version, televisions turn people into zombies, and the streets are over run by people who have become attached to there tvs, both mentally and physically.

Hi Maxx, nice idea with the remote control - sort of ultimate weapon: universal rem. control :) But the end of the story could be more fun maybe. What if army of tv zombies vs army of humans with the remotes?! And what will happen if charecter will change the channel to some Romantic program or Oprah or whatever diffirent channel? :)

thanks digi est, i agree the ending does need some work, i would love to do an epic battle scene, but i do not know what time will allow for. i chose this ending as a sort of lead in to a fight, and if i am able to get these shots done with time to spare, i think an army of men vs tvs would be a great idea. same thing with the different channels, i originally wanted the tvs to have different programs playing, but when budgeting my time for this challenge, i decided to go with just ambient light coming from there screens. we will see what happens, i might be overestimating the ammount of work. anyways, here is the first character model, the kid from the first set of boards. I'll post the old man tomorrow, just doing some final tweaks.

Very nice storyboard, I like the idea, nice and unique. Models also look fine.

Original idea and good work so far. I like the models so far, and I found myself thinking of where I saw each of the remotes before (their real-life equivalents).

Really liked the idea, hope to see some updates soon... Good lucks

Maxx I'd recomend you stop brushing and start animating previz. Or you will not manage to deliver your trailer in time.
In my story I've 2 times less of action then yours and it's 3rd week i'm animating previz.

Even the low poly tv zombies will look cool if there is a story-action. No body would care in the end how many polys you have here and there.

good luck
