View Full Version : Zombie Organ app made with Lightwave

02 February 2010, 06:15 PM
Hi everyone,

(shameless plug...)

Wanted to announce that we FINALLY launched our first app on the ITunes store, Zombie Organ, (link) just the other day and tell all those that want to develop 3d content for the iphone that I used Lightwave exclusively for this app and everything worked great!

Seeing that I am using Lightwave only as my 3d software, I wanted to take a moment to thank the Lightwave community sooooo much for all the support, encouragement and education that is available out there for someone like me (special thanks to Proton, Splinegod, Dan Ablan, Jonny Gorden, Tim Albee, Leigh Van der Byl and others that really made learning fun and interesting, I really appreciate it !)

As a little thank you, I wanted to give back something and was thinking that I would post one of the 7 zombies as a gift for you to play with, so if you are interested, please comment on what character you like best and the one that gets the most votes, I will gladly post the scene and object file as well as the texture file as a way to say thanks!! :)

Thanks for the votes so far... I'll let it go for another week and then post the winning files for everyone. Please let me know what you think of him (or her) when I do... :)

Thanks everyone that voted... Looks like the gypsy woman is the winner. :applause:
Please let me know what you think of the model, as this was the first time I ever did something like this for a Iphone app (definitely a learning curve to climb there..

and please, if you buy the app, rate it in the store so we can get feedback on if you liked it. We plan on expanding on it in the future with a Simon Says type game as well as other things and want to know if that is what the public would want.

Again, thanks for your time to look at and vote for your favorite zombie. Enjoy!!
