View Full Version : Object visible to GI but not rendered, how to?

How can I set up object to be visible in GI and not to be seen in final rendering?
So, I have big sphere with luminance material to act as a light dome and I wan't it to cast that light and be calculated in GI but don;t wanna see it actually rendered.
How can I set that up?
Or there is a better way to simulate sky light instead of sphere?

Oh yes another thing.. stupid noob question but.. how to choose which camera will be rendered to picture viewer and where to choose camera for output at all? can't find that anywhere :)
It doesn't use currently active cam...

Easiest way is to assign it a compositing tag, check GI, etc, but not seen by camera.
I think it uses the camera from the top left view for renders?

#1 yes, compositing tag.

#2 click on the small rectangle (viewfinder) to the right of the camera on the Object Manager
