Well... let's get it started with this! =D
I'm not sure yet about my ideas, but here are a first concept, just some references and a photo of a sketch that I did! Hope you all like it! =)

Hey there! This is the monkey, my first of 4 main characters of my scene! I've started modelling yesterday... Hope you all like it! =D

I like the style of this the head of the monkey reminds of Tim Burton wich is one of my favorite Directors.

Thanks Rage! hahah! Sure dude, I was thinking on post something tomorow, but I won't be working on it (Metallica Concert! HELL YEAH!!:buttrock: hahaha!)...

I'm using Vray 1.5 SP4! Love this little one! haha!

I'm using 3DS Max for modelling, add some details in ZBrush and renderering with VRay SP4! I'm using 3 Vray lights: one blue on top, green on left and amber on right! A very very dark enviroment is helping too! =) But i'm not sure if that is the final lighting...

The texture was made on Photoshop with some great photos from CgTextures (http://www.cgtextures.com)!

Today I've started with the shaders for his cloth... I'm not so sure about colors yet, maybe soon I'm gonna make some changes and post then here...!

Today I've started the college guy (he's from the football team, so that explain his clothes! heh!) Dunno yet if I'm gonna make his face, because in my head, he will stay back to the camera... hope you all like it! ;D

I've decided stop the college guy character for now. I wasn't fully happy with Busta (yeah, that's the chimp's name!), so I've spend a day fixing and improving some things... hope you all like it!

Really cool character design so far! Love the skull and the spacesuit both! I liked the glass sphere mroe when it had a bit less grime on it as in the second to last psot and even back further, as it didn't obscure the character as much. Good luck with the rest! :thumbsup:
