So, i'm not sure if i'll have the time, but giving it a shot won't hurt anyone.
Got a long week of work to commence, so time to get into brainstorming.

Good luck all

basic concept:

The title "Home Invasion 13" is a cliche with little imagination and creativity. The number 13 is not only the unlucky number, but is the link to the fact that this film is a 13th one in a sequel.
The number will find it's link inside the story twice.
The story on the other hand is inspired by the B-films in a way that it will be a cheap story, a cheap cast and has a non-professional crew that makes some serious production flaws.
The mood of the story is a thriller that tries to keep a certain tension across the line. While the viewer will spot some errors easily, the film tries to keep it serious.

In short, the story starts by a woman coming home late in a stormy night. She doesn't close the door properly and reads an article from the newspaper that was lying on the ground.
Meanwhile, a dark character shows up at the door and enters the house unnoticed. While the woman discovers the door is open, she doesn't noticed the person going up the stairs. After closing the door, she sees a light in the hallway upstairs and wonders what light is burning.
She goes up the stairs to have a peek to what is going on in the bathroom - where the light is coming from. When she takes a peek she get startled of what she just saw.
Meanwhile we get to see what is going on - i'm keeping it a surprise - and the character eventually exits the room to continue it's evil plans with his axe.
Then when he exits, he'll find a surprise he wasn't expecting for.

So basically, i have a 3 page long scenario with all the details. I'm going to try and keep most things a little more secret.
I'll have a small set, 3 characters and a heck load of animation (I hate animation cause i'm not good in rigging, skinning or animation). So this one will be a serious challenge to my skills.

This image doens't say much, but it shows i finished an important step in the process.
I made sure i got all details ready from the start so i know exactly what to do and what not to do.

Now up the step 2.
