I have a character rendered out here from Maya 2010, and I guess the way I created the UV map wasn't the most ideal...since there was some seams in odd places. I figured that it would all work out if projection painted over the seams.
Well for the most part it did....It renders fine close up. So, the problem lies when I render my character at a decent distance away.
I have a feeling that it is some sampling issue, and its possible that its because of my bump map. I remember I had a similar problem in XSI a while back, and there was some setting that stopped mental ray from sampling along border edges...(err somethin like that )
Any ideas? Look at top of the char's head ...there is a black line going across it
