Please help me, i found out tat Afterburn cant use in mental ray, any others way to make cloud? and others plugin like Fumefx and Dreamscape also hae the same problem, is tat those plug-in didnt release addition pack to support mental ray?

please tell me tat have other way to make cloud, if so, please teach me or give me the tutorial link, Thank You

Use Afterburn and render it with Scanline...there are many tutorials, use google. The rest of the scene can be rendered in Mental ray...than you can use a compositing app to combine your footage.

Afterburn doesnt support Mental Ray but Vray.

thx, 1 more question, do u know hw to export object from VUE?
i use Vue7 extreme, i wan export the cloud from vue to 3d max 2009, but i try many time, it's juz esport the sphere only, it's didnt provide cloud material, others like terrain can be export succeessful, any way to export it?

Isn't the latest version of Vue built to plug straight into the Max interface?

Another way to create clouds in 3ds max without any plugins:creating_clouds (
Have you tried the vue plugin to 3ds max, should still work with v7, though I only thinks it renders with MR.

i use vue 7 xstream and export the entire scene from ve to 3ds, and generate map for it, but once i import those scene to 3d max, the cloud juz become sphere and box only

The plugin should be automaticaly installed when you install VUE (I assume that you have 3ds max installed before vue?)
