View Full Version : Polygon mesh in Maya - quad lineup

This is a stupid question, but it's been awhile since I've been modeling, and I needed to ask - I have a polygonal model in Maya I've been asked to modify, and whoever built it has areas that I need to clean up - but it would result in a section of quads that flow into a section of less-dense quads, so I have a edge loop between more subdivided quads and larger quads.

Are there any rendering issues to a mesh like this? And this model will be exported to 3DS Max, so I needed to know it's not an issue for Max, either.
