I'm instancing fluids on particles and want to render them with mental ray, unfortunately mental ray won't render the fluids, only the hardware particles if I don't hide it.
It works with Maya software though.
I'm using maya 2009.
Also there are two reasons why I'm instancing fluids instance of shading the particles directly with the fluid, I want a fluid scaled in Y (some kind of flat cloud), and want to have them rotate. Don't think there's a way to have this with the particle fluid shader ?
