View Full Version : Strange rotation in ncloth simulation

I'm trying to create a bunch of bouncing beach balls using nCloth but getting strange rotation results. The beach balls bounce fine but they are constantly rotating. When they should slowly be rolling on the ground, they are spinning rapidly like one of those spinning ball water fountains. Kind of like this,

I've tried upping the Friction but it's still giving similar results. Any ideas how to slow the spinning?

this may be relevant if you are using pressure...

I am using pressure settings. I didn't think about that. Thanks for the lead, I will definitely investigate more.

I tried adding Damp, but it really just slows the rotation rather than making it "physically" correct. I will try to load a movie to show the issue. Does this have to do with using the Pressure setting?
