View Full Version : Modeling "not human" eyes for animation

There's a ton and a half of tutorials out there for modeling and animating human like eyes, but I can't find any for working on something other than a simple sphere.

What I have to start with is this:

And here's what I have started for my model:

I'm basically free to do what I want with him so long as he looks close, and I have the eyes rotating the way I (think?) they should be (They still need work, I know), but he needs to be able to blink too. I'm not sure how to go about that. Right now I just have the eyelids as separate objects.

Is this the best way to do it..?

the most easiest way is to use FFD Box.
Just create a normal spheren, link the FFD to the sphere en change the form as you want.
Now you can rotate the eyes as you want, the form of the sphere will stay the same :)

just link the FFD box with the rig and eyes
