View Full Version : MR Batch baking is baking PER shader.. why ?

I'm trying to batch bake some GI/FG to a texture but instead of maya rendering 1 baked texture map PER object.. it renders a texture for EVERY shader on the object!!.. And it's not even separating them in the texture either.. So all textures endup being the same...
I don't remember it being like this. Am I missing an option somewhere ?

I know there is the 'bake to 1 map' option but that would pretty much be useless if I want textures per object unless I do every object separately.. making the word 'batch' pointless..

Sorry for the extra rent.. grr..

Anyone ?
